One-Year Parts Warranty on New Parts

Computer Heaven, Inc. (CH) will warranty most new parts for one year from the date of purchase. If, during the one year warranty period a part fails, CH, at its discretion, will either replace or repair the part through the manufacturer.

• If it is within thirty days of the purchase date, we will replace the item with an identical or equivalent item in stock if such an item is available.
• If the item is not available, or if it is over 30 days from the purchase date, we will ship the defective part to either our supplier or the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
• It can take anywhere from one to four weeks for part replacements depending on the supplier/manufacturer of an item.
• When an item is replaced under warranty the repaired/replaced item will have whatever warranty was left over on the old item from the original purchase date only. The warranty will still expire at the end of the warranty period from the original purchase date.

Limited Labor Warranty on Repairs

Hardware repairs performed at Computer Heaven, such as screen, jack, and motherboard replacements come with a standard 90 day warranty unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers parts replacement and labor during the warranty period.

Software repairs such as infection removals and Windows installations come with a 7 day warranty.

Lifetime Labor Warranty on Custom Built Desktops

CH provides a one-year parts warranty (see one year parts warranty section above) and a lifetime labor warranty on new custom computer systems. If at any time a part needs to be replaced or repaired, CH will not charge a labor fee for the reinstallation of the repaired/replaced part.

This Warranty Does Not Cover

• Any part that was not purchased from and installed by CH.
• Upgrades.
• Software problems (infections, software compatibility, video game compatibility).
• Reinstallation of Windows, unless the Windows reinstall is required as a result of the hard drive it was installed on failing within the initial one year parts warranty.
• Additional parts or labor that may be required as a result of a warranty repair, e.g. the migration from DDR3 to DDR4, or new hard drive types.
• Shipping to or from a customer.
• Anything else not explicitly covered by the warranty.

Custom Built Desktops with Open-Loop Liquid Cooling

Computer Heaven's Lifetime Labor Warranty and 1 Year Parts Warranty are also applied to CH custom systems with open-loop liquid cooling under the same rules as listed above. In addition, the open-loop system must receive regular maintenance from either the client or Computer Heaven. Failure to do so may lead to damage to your system and the voiding of your warranty. Computer Heaven is not responsible for any damage caused by a lack of maintenance, neglect, or abuse of the system.

CH parts and Life Time Labor Warranty do not cover:

• Any modifications to the loop not done by CH.
• Overheating damage caused by improper use/maintenance of loop system.
  • Allowing loop system to run low on coolant.
  • Using non-approved coolants/additives in the system.
  • Damage from grime/residue buildup due to improper cleaning of the loop.
  • Damage from the use of non-recommended cleaning solutions.
• Problems/damage caused or related to overclocking of components.
• Damage related to the physical transport of the system.
• Loop cleaning and maintenance.
• Replacement coolant/additives.

Three-Year Extended Warranty on New CH Custom Built Computers

Three-year extended warranties purchased for new custom built computers cover only hardware replacement beyond the original warranty, for up to three years. If, during the three-year warranty period a part fails, CH, at its discretion, will either replace or repair the part through the manufacturer.

In the event a hard drive containing the operating system originally installed by Computer Heaven fails within the first year, labor to install the hard drive as well as the labor to reinstall the operating system is covered. Excludes Software, Virus, & Batteries.

CH part and repair warranties cover part failures only, and do not cover physically altered/damaged/abused parts.
